This is joy cranked to 11.
Laughter, dancing, heat! Those are our lasting impressions from this sunshine of a day. It was our absolute pleasure to be with Fife & Tayo to photograph their beautiful & fun Nigeran Fusion wedding at Fennes, Essex.
Imagine the hottest summer day, dial that up again, and you might be close to the beaut these two had for their outdoor ceremony, which was held at Fennes, an elegant Georgian Manor House set in the heart of rural North Essex countryside.
Fife started her morning at the White Hart Hotel with her bridesmaids. They had the excellent Painted by Esther on MUA duties, before making their way to the ceremony location.
Fennes has really lovely reception rooms where wedding guests can relax and have a drink before the ceremony, and a space where Fife could get into her dress by April by Kunbi and make the final adjustments and breathe! Their guests waited outside in anticipation with every fan and sun umbrella available!
Fife & Tayo danced down the aisle after the ceremony, and we were able to get some group photos in the gardens.
The onsite marquees at the Fennes also allows for a large reception which started with introductions and dancing and that was the vibe for the rest of the evening!
Late in the PM, Fife changed into the cutest pink dress with a spotted frill, and Tayo looked pretty suave in his tan suit. And yep, there was more dancing with DJ Neptizzle keeping the crowd going all night.
Fife and Tayo chose to have two photographers to cover their day, allowing us to capture both their morning activities and then different perspectives throughout the day. We were also able to look out for candids of all those guests. Big shout out to Ellie Gillard for her tireless shooting on the day!
Some nice words that Fife & Tayo said about us that we didn’t pay them to say:
“So glad we chose you. Glad you loved us, as much as we loved you! Thank you ! Thank you! You were everything we hoped for and more. So many unique shots, so many sentimental moments caught so beautifully. (You also really coped with our larger than usual numbers really well, lol!).”
Getting married at Fennes or in Essex? We’d love to hear from you too!
